The Hombre Golf Course's four sets of tees allow golfers to choose the level of difficulty that best fits their game and handicap. On the original 18 holes the course plays from 5,275 yards (senior tees) to 6,820 yards (championship tees) for the men while the ladies layout is a challenging 4,800 yards. The Hombre Golf Club opened in December 1989 with 18 holes and hosted its first PGA TOUR event in 1990, the Panama City Beach Classic. In 2001, The Hombre Golf Club added the "Good" nine holes (3,170 yards, par 35) to go along with the original "Bad" and "Ugly" nines. With 27 holes, the Hombre Golf Club can give you three different 18-hole options.
Nestled amidst wetlands, marshes, lakes and preserves, the course offers 27 challenging holes in a natural woodland setting, and has been host to major golf events including PGA TOUR Qualifying Rounds and the Canadian Pro Am.
