For our guests who are more adept at swinging a tennis racquet than a golf club, there are six all-weather Plexicushion tennis courts, with lighted courts for night play.

Add some action to your next business or special event, including class, military or family reunions, by adding a group tennis game or lesson. We also include several tennis activities for children.

Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort offers complete pro shop facilities and equipment rental for all of your tennis needs.

Featuring performance enhancing surfaces, the shock-absorbing qualities of Plexicushion reduce foot and leg fatigue, provide a firm, uniform surface and prevent the early exhaustion caused by playing on a soft, spongy surface.

The beautiful Florida sunshine provides lots of great opportunities to get out and play!

Our Pro Shop offers brand name tennis gear, clothing and rental equipment, making it easy and affordable for all levels to get out and swing those racquets!

Want to take advantage of all the great tennis in the Florida sunshine, but don’t know where to start? Take a lesson at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort.

Private tennis lessons and clinics are under the instruction of resident Tennis Pro Donovan September, with over 15 years of teaching experience and participation in the U.S. Open and Australian Open. Tennis clinics encompass a wide range of experience levels from a complete beginner’s clinic, teaching basic fundamentals, to "boot camp" for the ultimate tennis workout, featuring conditioning, stroke analysis, drills and strategy.

Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort helps your kids learn to swing like a pro!

For those active kids who want to be like Nadal, Federer or Agassi, The Club at Edgewater offers junior clinics for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Children ages 5–12 can also join Donovan, Edgewater’s tennis pros, for private tennis lessons.
