Panama City-Bay County International Airport

Currently, the Panama City – Bay County International (PFN) airport is less than ten miles from Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort on Florida's Gulf Coast. If you're flying into the Northwest Florida Regional Airport in Ft. Walton Beach (VPS), the drive to Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort in Panama City Beach will take about an hour.

Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort offers an airport shuttle service for the Panama City – Bay County International airport at a cost of $20 each way, including tax, for the first person and $15 per each additional person. Please call 850.235.4044 to arrange for shuttle service.

Airport Relocation
Plans are under way to relocate the Panama City – Bay County International Airport; the new airport is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2010. It will be the first international airport built in the nation since 9/11. Florida Governor Charlie Crist called it "a national model for economic transformation and environmental preservation."
