Debra A. Abrams, Director of Convention Services
Educated in New York City, Debra has been in the hospitality industry since changing her college major from architecture to hospitality industry studies. Prior to leaving New York City, Debra worked as a sous chef in two locations under the Sheraton flag: Manhattan and Stamford, Conn. Debra cross-trained in restaurant service and banquet service, then followed the natural progression to convention services. Debra worked for Interstate Hotels Corporation in Orlando and Miami for ten years before moving to Panama City Beach in 2000. Debra has been detailing the conventions of all market segments at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort as Director of Convention Services since 2000.
Mark Farner, Sr. Convention Services Manager
Originally from central Pennsylvania, Mark came to Panama City Beach, Fla., in 2000 to be the Director of Audiovisual at Edgewater. Since 2000, Mark has held various positions at the resort including Setup Manager, Banquet Manager and Director of Banquet Operations. Presently, Mark works closely with meeting planners, coordinating a wide range of details that help make their events a positive, memorable experience.
Tricia Petty, Director of Group Sales
Prior to joining The Resort Collection team in 2010 as a sales manager, Tricia worked as director of sales for Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn, and held public relations positions with Gulf World Marine Park and St. Andrew Bay Center. She has also worked closely with Resort Collection Travel since its inception in 2012, and recently became the company's director of sales. Tricia has lived in Panama City for about 30 years and is an active member of the local community, including the Bay County Chamber and Leadership Bay Committee. As Director of Group Sales, Tricia specializes in associations and executive meetings.
Tracy Heitzig, Group Sales Manager
Tracy has resided in Florida since 2001 and has more than twenty years of hotel management experience. She relocated to Panama City Beach after living in the Turks and Caicos Islands for eight years. Tracy attended Colorado State University and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management and Speech Communications from Southern Illinois University. Her hotel experience ranges from Public Relations Manager, Marketing and Sales Manager to the Director of Operations for a Caribbean resort. Tracy currently oversees social, military, government, educational, religious and fraternal meetings and events.
Dana B. Lent, Sales Manager
A native of Jacksonville, Dana moved to Panama City Beach 12 years ago and has worked in public relations and marketing for Nextel, Sprint, the Panama City Beach CVB, and Bay Point Resort Golf Club. Dana has a Bachelor of Communications in marketing from the University of Alabama and was a member of UA's swimming and diving team, where she was awarded three NCAA All-American awards and was the SEC champion of platform diving in 1996. Dana specializes in sports marketing and currently oversees all meetings and events for sporting teams.
Pamela Billing, Weddings & Special Events
Pamela Billing is the catering sales manager at The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach. A 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois, Billing was previously employed at the Illinois Regent Ballroom and Banquet Center as a banquet coordinator for weddings and special events. She first joined the Resort Collection in 2010 as the banquet captain for the food and beverage team. She also continues to plan events for clients at The Resort Collection.
Barbara Davis, Administrative Assistant
Barbara lived in Rockford, Illinois, prior to joining The Resort Collection in March of 2004. She is a tremendous asset to the sales team, assisting managers in generating and distributing contracts as well as managing sales finances. Customer care is of the utmost importance to our entire team, and Barbara is dedicated to seeing that Resort Collection clients are well looked after, while also maintaining good communications among the sales team, customers, and management team.
Jessica Adams, Catering Assistant
Jessica began working with The Resort Collection in 2012 as an assistant to our catering sales team. A native of Thomasville, Georgia, she now lives near the world’s most beautiful beaches, taking care of The Resort Collection’s many wedding and special events clients. From beachside ceremonies to banquets at Edgewater and Majestic Beach resort conference centers, Jessica is devoted to customer care and ensuring our large group visitors have a pleasant and stress-free stay at Panama City Beach.
