Steve Bailey, Director of Group Sales
Steve is a native of Panama City Beach, Fla. He has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry. Steve is a ’97 graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Psychology. Prior hospitality locations include Jackson, Miss., and Birmingham, Ala. Steve has been in Sales and Marketing for over nine years and currently oversees all group sales aspects including corporate accounts and business development, in addition to the Alabama and Georgia Meeting Associations and Sports markets.

Kerri Maney, Catering Sales Manager
Kerri joined the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort sales team with six years in the hospitality service industry, including completing the Corporate Management Training Program with Hyatt Hotels. Prior to Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort, Kerri worked as a Sales Manager for the Highlands Inn Park Hyatt in Carmel, Calif., as the Individual Business Travel Sales Manager for Adam’s Mark Hotel in Orlando, Fla., and as a Management Trainee at Hyatt Orlando in Orlando, Fla. Kerri handles local catering, weddings and holiday parties.

Mark Farner, Sr. Convention Services Manager
Originally from central Pennsylvania, Mark came to Panama City Beach, Fla., in 2000 to be the Director of Audiovisual at Edgewater. Since 2000, Mark has held various positions at the resort including Setup Manager, Banquet Manager and Director of Banquet Operations. Presently, Mark works closely with meeting planners, coordinating a wide range of details that help make their events a positive, memorable experience.

Tracy Heitzig, Sales Manager
Tracy joined the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort sales team over five years ago with more than fifteen years of hotel management experience. She relocated to Panama City Beach after living in the Turks and Caicos Islands for eight years. Her hotel experience ranges from Public Relations Manager, Marketing and Sales Manager to Director of Operations for a Caribbean resort. Tracy currently oversees social, military, educational, religious and fraternal meetings and events.

Debra A. Abrams, Director of Convention Services
Educated in New York City, Debra has been in the hospitality industry since changing her college major from architecture to hospitality industry studies. Prior to leaving New York City, Debra worked as a sous chef in two locations under the Sheraton flag: Manhattan and Stamford, Conn. Debra cross-trained in Restaurant Service and Banquet Service, then followed the natural progression to Convention Services. Debra worked for Interstate Hotels Corporation for ten years in Orlando and Miami before moving to Panama City Beach in 2000. Debra has been detailing the conventions of all market segments at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort as Director of Convention Services since 2000.

Carly Kiser, Executive Meetings Manager/ Sales Manager
Carly is a native of Panama City Beach, Florida, and offers over six years’ experience in the hospitality industry. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Marketing. Prior to Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort, Carly worked with the Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Select in Panama City. Carly currently serves as the Executive Meeting Manager responsible for coordination of groups and meetings involving 25 rooms or less and oversees all association meetings and events, in addition to the Beaches to Books accounts.

Tim Rose, Director of Membership and Corporate Partnerships
Tim joined Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort this year as the director of membership and corporate partnerships. Tim is a graduate of Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala. Prior to joining The Resort Collection Tim was the Midwest regional sales manager for the Eagle Golf Corporation in Chicago. He has also held positions with 1031 Exchange Experts, Shark’s Tooth Golf Club, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, and Michael Jordan Golf Company. Tim is responsible for generating the budgeted revenue for the activities division and maximizing tournament booking opportunities as well as creating, implementing and monitoring the annual sales and marketing plan.
